Amazing Wedding Day in Bonavista Newfoundland
When you’re in Newfoundland there’s area you need to visit and that’s the Bonavista Peninsula.
It’s absolutely beautiful.
This summer I was lucky enough to photograph my second wedding in the area, this time also making our way out to Elliston and a little spot called Coles Gulch.
But what is most important here is mentioning how wild and crazy the bridal party was.
Be prepared for a butt slapping, arse grabbing and pole dancing good time.
This very quickly turned into one of my all time favorite weddings and is not one I’ll ever forget.
Enjoy the photos!
- I arrived in Bonavista the day before the wedding giving us a unique opportunity to hang out with the bridal party and make a couple of non-wedding day group portraits for them. We started out at Mifflin’s Tea Room where the girls were enjoy the tea (and the deserts ;-))
- After we finished up with the girls at Mifflin’s we joined up with the boys at the pub where the boys were getting in the pints.
- The boys had just poured up a few shots and all of a sudden the girls stormed in, out of no where!
- And downed the shots like it was nobodies business!
- And before we knew it they were gone again. Stephanie with one last reminder to Mark to “not stay out too late or get too drunk!”.
- Advice that Mark was quick to forget about.
- We left the pub around 11, the boys stayed just a little bit later. :-D
- Late to bed, early to rise. It seems all the drink from the night before might of effected the tying abilities of the guys. It took several goes for them to finally get knotted up. I will say, some got it quicker then others.
- Sadness…
- Happiness! Stephanie showing her dress off, it’s almost time!
- High five with mom, here we go!
- After one last photo of Mark and Steph overlooking Bonavista, we took off for Coles Gulch.
- Ain’t nuttin’ but a butt grab… Sometimes I’m just along for the ride, taking the pictures of whatever happens. :-)
- Finally it was time for the reception and I think the rest of the photos (sort of) speak for themselves. Enjoy.
Came across the site randomly and was browsing. Just wanted to say that this looks like one of the most fun receptions I’ve ever seen!
